Tyra Kinnan is First Team Member to Complete Branded Group Day of Purpose

Branded Group’s Tyra Kinnan recently completed her Day of Purpose with our valued non-profit partner, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. Tyra utilized her skills to complete work on the cove base at the Placentia, California build site. This property will be transformed into a future home for a deserving local family, adding to the 208 inventory of new homes Habitat has built since 1988.

Together with the site’s general contractor, she worked through the final punch list ensuring the home would be ready for its presentation to the selected family. In addition to painting wall moldings in each room, Tyra also installed smoke alarms. She measured the home’s doors and closets so they could be accurately sanded to accommodate the new carpet installation.

“Being able to give back to the community after so many have given to me, was a blessing,” Tyra said. “It also shows my daughter the value of human kindness and that everyone can make a difference.”

Tyra has been with Branded Group for three years as an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, she is responsible for all vendor invoicing and reconciling aging reports. Most importantly, she strives to maintain stellar business partnerships with Branded Group’s valued vendors and service providers.

The Branded Group Day of Purpose program was created so that our team members could participate in a volunteer activity of their choice.  Tyra was the first #BeBetter team member to accomplish this noteworthy goal.
