A #BeBetter Go-Getter

We are thrilled to welcome our first intern, Alaina Rhee, to the #BeBetter team! Alaina is a junior at Whittier College with a combined major in mathematics-economics. Originally from Seattle, Alaina was recruited for Whittier College’s volleyball team.

When the #BeBetter internship program was launched, Whittier College quickly recommended Alaina as a perfect fit to our team and culture. Alaina’s primary role is to assist human resources, yet she is not limited to one department.

In order to provide Alaina with a well rounded work experience, she has also cross-trained with our sales and marketing department as well as our IT department.

“I love working with Branded Group’s IT department,” Alaina said of her #BeBetter experience. “We are working on a data modeling project where I am running logistics. This project correlates to a class I am currently taking, Econometrics! It is great to have this hands on experience.”

Alaina’s dream job is to be an actuary for  an insurance company. In her free time, Alaina enjoys hanging out with her friends or catching up with her mom who lives in Seattle. Alaina is attentive, adaptable, quick to learn, and pushes herself to #BeBetter.

“When I first started at Branded Group, everyone was so friendly and I honestly did not know an office could be this way. I agree with the sentiment that Branded Group is the Google of the facility maintenance industry – they have a game room, zen room, bikes, and everything is covered in green!”

The Branded Group internship is aimed to give Alaina valuable work experience and refine her professional skills through our #BeBetter culture.
