Looking Forward to Giving Back in 2020

At Branded Group, our vision “to build a conscious business that inspires future humanitarian leaders” is the guiding principle for our team members. We strive to place purpose before profit and want our efforts to make a difference in people’s lives.

For the past five years, our give-back initiatives have been grounded in our award-winning One-for-One program in which each completed service call was transformed into one minute of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, CA and Suffolk County, NY. To date, the #BeBetter team has helped to build or restore over 10 homes.

In 2019, through our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, our team distributed 7,655 pounds of food to 300 people. We also saved over 221 pounds of trash from polluting the Pacific Ocean through various beach cleanup projects. Lastly, several #BeBetter team members assisted in the construction of a playground at The Oak View Family Resource Center alongside volunteers from The Children’s Bureau.

In order for us to continue to have the greatest impact to our community, our 2020 social impact strategy is evolving. To date, our efforts have been aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals; specifically Goal #2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal #11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).

This year, our commitment will expand to include Goal #14 – Life Below Water as we extend our efforts to include Orange County Coastkeeper. This new partnership will enable us to help keep our beaches free from litter and debris, preserving the beautiful California coastline.
